years Ischia has hosted as many as 54 productions, including films and TV dramas. Whether you are a movie buff or simply want to experience the thrill of being on the locations you have seen on the big screen or on TV, theIschia Movie Tour is the ideal choice. This is a fascinating journey of discovery of film locations located in the island’s oldest village.
What it consists of
The tour, entitled“The Village on the Big Screen,” takes place in Ischia Ponte and will take you through the settings of national and international films. With the guidance of a professional location manager, you will have the opportunity to visit as many as 11 sets that have been the heart of famous productions. These include “Cleopatra” with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, “The Corsair of the Green Isle” with Burt Lancaster, Leonardo Pieraccioni’s “Paradise Suddenly,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley” with Oscar winners Matt Damon, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow, and “Crime in Full Sunshine,” the thrilling noir starring Alain Delon and Marie Laforet. In addition, you will discover the locations that gave birth to Gabriele Muccino’s “L’Amica Geniale” and “A Casa Tutti Bene,” as well as the locations of the TV series “The Cook’s Crimes” with Bud Spencer.

The 3-hour tour includes:

Participation fee: €25.00 per person.
The fee does not include admission to the Aragonese Castle, where scenes from Gabriele Muccino’s film “A Casa Tutti Bene” were filmed (extra cost of €10.00).
Hours: Tours leave exclusively in the morning at 10:00 a.m
. Tour duration varies from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the visit to the Castle.
