Throughout history it has been home to the headquarters of the British during World War II, and also the seat of the Municipality of Ischia, and then returned between the 1950s and 1960s to its original destination as a Hotel hosting many jet setters of the time. Its strategic location gives the possibility to enjoy all the possible comforts within walking distance: the sea, restaurants with typical cuisine, the course full of stores and the many attractions easily reachable both on foot and by bus. The hotel today is being renovated, currently equipped with air-conditioned rooms with TV and WI-FI.
