St. Michael’s 2024

Everything is ready for the feast of St. Michael the Archangel to be held Sept. 29-30 in Ischia. Religious celebrations will alternate with artistic and cultural moments. The feast will be heralded by the morning fireworks display on Sept. 29 at 9:15 a.m., followed by melodies from the band. On Sept. 30, the procession at sea, with embarkation of the effigy of St. Michael at the fishermen’s harbor and continuation under the coast to Punta Chiarito and then to Punta Maronti and back. 9 p.m. Landing “Under the Tower” and procession with torchlight procession to the Square followed by return to the Church. For the evening of Sept. 30, there will be availability of free shuttles (EAV/tour buses) to/from Panza parking lots with service provided from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
