The colors of Ischia: art in motion
September 9 - September 22
Ischitan Artists in a Collective Painting Exhibition will color the streets of Ischia. From September 9 to 15, the chosen location will be along the little flower gardens near P.zzetta S. Girolamo and from September 16 to 22, instead, on the Churchyard of S Maria delle Grazie in S.Pietro.
They will be art corners open to all, small oases where painters can create, voice and spread their different experiences.
A ‘welcome appointment for tourists and islanders who always numerous stop to converse to discover the stories of the Artists, to admire the originality of the works, the variety of techniques and the many corners of paradise represented.
The art of Ischian painters is one of the unparalleled artistic heritages, which the Made in Ischia project promoted by the DMO of the Municipality of Ischia has designed in order to protect, promote and support the Masters and the Ischian art that has so much to tell the world.
It will be a fascinating walk in which it will be easy to be captivated by the colors, the art that is always in motion and in constant creative ferment, and the deep-rooted artistic traditions of our island of Ischia.
Given the success of the event, the exhibition could be extended beyond September 22.
